Freyagushi at Resistance pop up shopping day ( May 5th )

 I will present the new Freyagushi ' warning trouble ' accessory collection as well as limited hair clips and a few outfits at Resistance pop up shopping event this Saturday 5th May. You will find plenty of other quirky designers and artists..

Resistance pop up shopping day will be a monthly event , every first saturday of each month , with different designers each time. The aim is to offer a space for you to shop for out of the box designer fashion and accessories ; quirky art... London needs a new cutting edge shopping space !

Quirky designer fake eyelashes

 I  am a big fan of fake eyelashes. I always look around for quirky styles.. It is very rare to find really creative ones even more from independent designers !

Paperself and Luna & curious labels collaborated to create really quirky ones made from paper inspired by chinese symbols. They come with sea creatures , butterflies and more...

Yayoi Kusama exhibition ( london , uk ) 9 feb - 5 june 2012

 Exhibition at the Tate Modern of Yayoi Kusama beautiful yet obsessive art works. I always admired her  way to immerse herself in other worlds to feel and create genuine art.

" Since 1977 Kusama has lived voluntarily in a psychiatric institution, and much of her work has been marked with obsessiveness and a desire to escape from psychological trauma. In an attempt to share her experiences, she creates installations that immerse the viewer in her obsessively charged vision of endless dots and nets or infinitely mirrored space."

down the rabbit hole with Trashy toy

  Trashy toy was one of the first Freyagushi models back in 2002. Maybe you remember also her work  on Freyagushi website , a mix of medical tools and rhinestones , injured cute rabbits ?.........

She now is explorating the world of photography. We had lost touch. I found her again thanks to  facebook ( it has a few good sides ) . I was so impressed discovering her beautiful yet dark images.

 Tragic birthday :

Back in the days ;)  featuring Freyagushi past collection pieces ( bow mesh top , razor blade pvc corset and skirt ). It is still one my favorite images of Freyagushi clothing after all these years.
