Freyagushi is a designer label located in London. Born in 2002, when the designer Pinkindus moved from France to UK.

Freyagushi is a quality label founded by the belief that clothing is a form of self-expression. Our deepest emotions can be expressed through Fashion. It can also be portrayed as our own wearable art.

Freyagushi’s depicts beauty, while also portraying the duality of human beings. Beauty as simplicity, but with an underlying sense of darkness, corruption and loss of innocence.

Many of Freyagushi’s creations combine nightmarish visions of death and blood with the delicacy of lace and feminine shapes. The designer’s combination of medical tools with sophisticated shape and detailing portrays that;

“Nothing is as simple as beauty or pain, nothing is black or white, but everything is a combination of both.

Freyagushi is inspired by Haute Couture, such as the work of Dior and Galliano. Freyagushi exists in a land somewhere between Haute Couture and Mass Production. It offers elaborated and unique garments, which can’t be produced in factories.

The designer is free of the boundaries of fashion as she studied law .To be self-taught can be seen as a problem but it can be an advantage .It helps her to have her own vision, her own unique style and to experiment whilst being mentally free of the constraints of the fashion world.

Furthermore Freyagushi's goal has never been to re-create, but to bring something fresh and new into fashion. It may not be to your own personal liking, but no one can deny the work, sophistication and the narrative behind Freyagushi clothing and the love of well-made garments.

The pictures will never be as good as seeing the pieces in real life.

For this reason soon Freyagushi workshop will be open to the public by appointment from April 08.
